Centive Raises the Bar on Sales Compensation
Centive has raised the bar for on-demand sales compensation management software with the release of Centive Compel featuring integration with salesforce.com to enable sales reps and managers to forecast compensation based on opportunities within salesforce.com’s CRM system and supporting more complex compensation plans and special program incentives (SPIFs). The release of Compel is supported by Centive’s “Live in 55 Days” guarantee, which enables organizations to “go live” with their new sales compensation management system in time for 2006 or the implementation is free. “The release of Compel is extremely feature-rich, yet maintains our core philosophy of being easy to set-up, easy to learn and easy to use,” said Michael Torto, president and CEO of Centive. “And, our integration with salesforce.com provides companies with full automation of the ‘prospect to paycheck’ lifecycle to support better forecasting and improved sales performance.”

Centive Compel automates all sales compensation in one centralized system that provides the accuracy, flexibility and IT-independence lacking in home- grown and Excel-based sales compensation systems. In addition, Compel provides a complete audit trail of all changes made to plans and data as well as the security and process controls needed to support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance initiatives. Compel supports direct integration with salesforce.com to motivate sales reps by calculating “what-if” opportunity-based commissions - dollars earned by closing specific “Opportunities” in salesforce.com. Opportunity-based commission earnings are displayed within each user’s secure at-a-glance dashboard next to the actual to-date commission earnings information. Opportunities can be filtered to include only those forecast to close based on a company’s specific pipeline management methodology. In addition to the Appforce-based salesforce.com integration, the Fall release of Compel also enables opportunity-based commission calculation for any SFA/CRM tool via an automated interface.
