Late for a customer meeting?

Junghans Mega 1000

£180

I see so many sales people who run late for meetings. Having worked as a customer I was always amazed about how many sales people reduced their chances by being late.

If you have a 30 minute meeting and arrive just 10 minutes late – you barely have time to get your message across.

To help you get to the meeting on time this watch is the most accurate that you can buy. Synchronised by radio control it is linked in to the atomic clock in Physical Technical Federal Institute in Braunschweig, Germany.

It is accurate to one second in one million years, so you will have no excuse in being late for your next sales call.

And if your customer is always running late – why not buy them one for their Christmas present?

Email on the move

Using a BlackBerry has, for many sales professionals, become synonomous with email on the move. A brand new BlackBerry 7100x is now available that looks more like a mobile phone than a mini computer. The new design is aimed at active mobile professionals who need to manage their work wherever they are (nationally or internationally)

The BlackBerry 7100x features all the popular BlackBerry applications including advanced phone, messaging, organiser and browsing capabilities. In addition to a large and bright, high-resolution colour screen, the BlackBerry 7100x incorporates an integrated speakerphone that is ideal for conference calls, Bluetooth support for wireless headsets and car-kits and a quad-band radio for international roaming. It also features polyphonic ring tone support and the latest BlackBerry browsing technology providing users with access to a wide range of rich HTML-based Internet content in full colour.

Perhaps the main backward step is that the traditional style keyboard has gone. This has been replaced with two letters on each key - to fit within the size constraints of a traditional 'candy bar' phone design. A form of predictive text called SureType should help to get around the worst of the problems.

The BlackBerry 7100x weighs 120g and has a battery life (using the standard battery) of over four hours talk time and over eight days standby. A hands-free earpiece, USB cable and standard holster are included.

The BlackBerry 7100x is available from O2 at www.o2.com
